Dieses Bildarchiv wird demnächst durch eine von der Gemeinde Kaprun betriebene Topothek ersetzt, in der Zwischenzeit wünschen wir Ihnen viel Freude beim Betrachten der Bilder von Oberlehrer Rauch, welcher in den 1920er und 30er Jahren in Kaprun gewirkt und das Leben und die Leute mit seiner Kamera verewigt hat.
"Das „Maria-Theresianische Brennrecht“ aus dem 18. Jahrhundert ist ein Obstbrennrecht. Dieses erhielten zu dieser Zeit nur „brave, fleißige, rechtsschaffende und ordentliche Bauern“, wie es im Gesetzestext hieß. Auch Witwen von im Krieg gefallenen Bauern hatten Anspruch darauf, um ihnen ein zusätzliches Einkommen zu sichern. Es erlaubte den Bauern, 300 Liter reinen Alkohol pro Jahr herzustellen. Darüber hinaus erlangte man das Recht, Obst für das Brennen in Österreich zukaufen zu dürfen. „Einfachen“ Abfindungsbrennern war nur die Verarbeitung des eigenen Obstes erlaubt. Dieses Brennrecht gilt heute noch für den Betrieb und kann nur mit dem Betrieb weitergegeben und von seinen Nachfolgern genutzt werden."
