Bildarchiv Kaprun Museum
Dieses Bildarchiv wird demnächst durch eine von der Gemeinde Kaprun betriebene Topothek ersetzt, in der Zwischenzeit wünschen wir Ihnen viel Freude beim Betrachten der Bilder von Oberlehrer Rauch, welcher in den 1920er und 30er Jahren in Kaprun gewirkt und das Leben und die Leute mit seiner Kamera verewigt hat.
Dass Josef Rauch auch gerne in den Bergen unterwegs war, zeigen uns die tollen Aufnahmen von Berggipfeln genauso wie von Schutzhütten. Neben dem Kesselfall ließ Gassner 1896 ein Hotel errichten, das Kesselfall-Alpenhaus sowie die bekannten Nebengebäude, das Poststöckl und das Touristenstöckl. Nikolaus Gassner und sein Bruder Josef erwarben weitere Grundrechte am Mooserboden. Ein Karrenweg führte vom Kesselfall zum Mooserboden, dort bauten die Gassners 1899 das Mooserbodenhotel.
Hier: Das Hotel Mooserboden 1938 wurde das Hotel, das zuletzt zur Unterbringung von Angestellten der Bauleitung, am Kraftwerksbau gedient hatte, endgültig abgetragen. Es war wie die Orglerhütte über das Fürst-Liechtenstein-Sträßchen ausgehend vom Hotel Kesselfall erreichbar.
