Bildarchiv Kaprun Museum
Dieses Bildarchiv wird demnächst durch eine von der Gemeinde Kaprun betriebene Topothek ersetzt, in der Zwischenzeit wünschen wir Ihnen viel Freude beim Betrachten der Bilder von Oberlehrer Rauch, welcher in den 1920er und 30er Jahren in Kaprun gewirkt und das Leben und die Leute mit seiner Kamera verewigt hat.
Das Flößen des Holzes auf der Salzach. Die Salinen Bad Dürnberg und Hallein benötigten große Mengen an Brennholz zum Versieden der geförderten Sole. Aus Gebieten im Pinzgau bezog die Saline das dringend Brennmaterial, für die Holztriftwurde die Salzach genutzt.
