Bildarchiv Kaprun Museum
Dieses Bildarchiv wird demnächst durch eine von der Gemeinde Kaprun betriebene Topothek ersetzt, in der Zwischenzeit wünschen wir Ihnen viel Freude beim Betrachten der Bilder von Oberlehrer Rauch, welcher in den 1920er und 30er Jahren in Kaprun gewirkt und das Leben und die Leute mit seiner Kamera verewigt hat.
Holzkohleherstellung am heutigen Salzburgerplatz in Kaprun. Der Schmied benötigte Holzkohle, da durch Steinkohlefeuer der Stahl spröde wurde.
Es gab verschiedene Kohlplätze, z.B am Kolbarm (bei der Sperre im Imbachgraben), am Wagnerhäuslanger (heute Hauerbauernalm links neben dem Bach), Törlanger hinter Wüstlau; Hier: Das Anlegen des Kohlenmeilers.
Leider sind die Personen unbekannt.
